Have you heard of Cougar Gold cheese? It's made at Washington State University (in Washington State). They also make ice cream, and sell it at their ice cream shop on-campus called Ferdinand's. The cheese can be purchased online or on-campus of course (it is packaged in a can!). The ice cream is only sold locally. Visitors can watch the cheese being made on-campus. My kids have been fascinated with the process since the time they were young. We go to Ferdinand's for ice cream, then walk upstairs to glass windows, where you look down from a platform into the facility where cheese is made.

Spicy crab nachos? You sure know how to get fancy! Seriously, I voted "Cheddar" only because that's the kind of cheese I use most often, but I like most kinds. I'll be back to try a few of these recipes next time I get a craving for cheese.
