INDIAN FOOD RECIPE

 

CHICKEN 65

Ingredients :

Boneless chicken 1

Yoghurt 1 cup

Red chilli powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp

Cumin seeds 1 ½ tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Turmeric powder ½ tsp

Oil 4 tbsp

Salt

Green chillies 5-6

Curry leaves

Mustard seeds

Cumin seeds

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Vinegar 1 tsp

Method :

  1. Marinate chicken in ginger garlic paste and salt for 2 hours. Add yoghurt, red chilli powder, coriander powder. Cumin seeds, garam masala, turmeric powder, and keep aside for another 2 hours.
  2. Convert chicken in deep pan. Close lid and keep on slow fire till totally dry.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies. Fry them, then add to chicken pan.Garnish with coriander.

      No one really knows the origin of the name. It is believed that some one tried to cook a whole chicken in a pot with 65 dried red chili peppers to make it hot..
