Chicken Teriyaki

Being of Japanese heritage I had to add my recipe for Chicken Teriyaki. I back mine but you can also marinate in a freezer bag and put in a slow cooker. Easy and fast recipe. who doesn't love Teriyaki Chicken.

I love my recipe and use it for all my Teriyaki,

"A genuinely mouthwatering dish with an Asian kick that will knock your chopsticks off! Serve with steamed white rice."

My house recipe

Cook Time

Prep Time: 30 min

Total Time: 7

Serves: 6


  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 5 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mirin
  • 1/2 cup of sauce to 1 cup chicken
  • garlic to taste
  • ginger to taste
  • sesame seed to taste


  1. Marinate for 7 hours in a freezer bag in the refrigerator
  2. Place chicken in a 9 by 11 baking pan
  3. bake in oven on 350 for 20 min till the chicken internal temp is 160 to 165
  4. Serve over rice

Chicken Teriyaki Salad


Take your chicken teriyaki and make a healthy salad

  • Prep time: 20 min
  • Ready in: 20 min
  • Yields: 6


  • 16 oz shreded cabbage
  • 8 oz. shreded carrots
  • chicken 2 or 3 big pieces
  • peanuts cooked
  • 1/3 sesame salad dressing
  • cooking oil


  1. Instructions
  2. Cut and add cabbage and carrots in oil that was put in a large skillet or wok. Heat oil on medium heat and cook, stir frequently until the vegetables cooked but still firm
  3. Stir in the dressing with the chicken. Heat through. Put in a serving dish with the peanuts on top and serve with rice.
