Why Not Some Chocolate For Breakfast ;)
Protein shakes are a great and healthy way to start your day. One of my favorite recipes for smoothies is a Oatmeal Chocolate Smoothie. If you have every been to Potbelly's and tried there oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, this taste nothing like that, but I did get your hopes up didn't I. ;)
But if those cookies could have a healthy protein shake distant step brother twice removed..... This would be it.
Because it has protein and oats, a glass of this healthy drink is actually very filling. While in college I had to wake up everyday to the sound of my roommates blender. Everyday he had a protein shake for breakfast. He was one of the healthiest guy I know. This is actually a recipe he made with a little help from yours truly.
1/4 cup quick oats (any brand )
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (any brand )
1 cup Vanilla Silk soymilk (can substitue almond or cocnut milk )
1 packet stevia
3/4 cup water

Instructions - Just Takes One Easy Step
1. Place that and your other ingredients in a blender and blend until desired smoothie consistency is reached.
A perfect on the go meal for a short commute. Enjoy!
