Coffee and Fruit Smoothie - The Ultimate Breakfast

This delicious smoothie is full of nutrients. It is a great way to start the morning with a kick. You may add ice cubes for an extra cold blended drink. This is great on hot summer mornings as an alternative to coffee. This beverage also works well in the winter. The ingredients are not very conventional. You might be a little bit surprised at how delicious this tastes!

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons of Cardamom

2 Cups of Coffee

1 Package of Blueberries

1 Orange, peeled

Bunch of Lettuce, chopped

2 Cups of Rice Milk

2 Tablespoons of Sugar

Instructions

1. Crush the Cardamom in a mortar and pestle. I personally grind it in Magic Bullet. You may do this with a coffee grinder or blender.

2. Brew the coffee with the Cardamom mixed in with coffee grounds.

3. Put all of the ingredients in a blender. You may add ice cubes if you would prefer a cold, iced treat.

4. Serve!

      @ClassyGals: The cardamom is supposed to help get rid of the negative effects of caffeine. It is popular in Arabic countries.
