5 Innovative Utensils for Your Kitchen!

Updated on February 10, 2015

I wonder if these people who actually came up with the idea of creating different utensils went around running screaming 'Eureka' from the top of their lungs! I mean, come to think of it, these vessels/gadgets are actually very useful for everyday life in one of the most essential parts of your home -- the kitchen. But what makes them different is that you would not have guessed how useful they are unless or until you come across them. Then you'll end up thinking, 'Hey! I wouldn't mind having one of those!'. This is what this webpage is all about -- bringing to focus some of the utensils which we would have otherwise considered unimportant and dispensable.

I came across some of these at Amazon and liked the whole concept of it. If you're bored of using the same old utensils in your kitchen, you might want to check out some of these! They also make for a great gift for someone who has it all in the kitchen.

Happy kitchen-ing!

1. Twixit Clip Bag Sealers, Set of 27

The Twixit clip bag sealers made of Polypropylene are the ideal clips for sealing your bag of chips after opening! These are getting rave reviews everywhere and customers seem to love them. They come in 3 sizes and are delivered in a screw top container that you can store away easily.

2. Cordless Warming Tray

This stainless steel warming tray is cordless and all it takes is 8 minutes to warm your food up. It’s great for parties where you will have a couple of dishes to warm up for your guests. You don’t have to warm them separately and use this tray instead – quick and easy. There’s no disturbance of a cord hanging around either. This utensil stays warm for 60 minutes after detaching from power supply.

3. Prodyne SD-7 Sugar Please, Sugar Dispenser

This automatic sugar dispenser dispenses about ½ tsp of sugar with the push of a button. You don’t have to use a teaspoon anymore with this dispenser! It’s also great for your kids to use because it avoids the mess that comes with using spoonfuls of sugar.

4. Taylor Digital Measuring Cup and Scale

Reading is integrated on to the handle of the measuring cup. The cup automatically converts ingredients like water, milk, sugar, flour from weight to cups plus it even has an auto-off feature. It’s highly useful for those confused and lost souls in the kitchen who have a pretty bad time when it comes to measuring ingredients.

5. Van Gogh Disappearing Ear Mug

You will just have to pour some hot beverage into the mug to see Van Gogh’s ear disappearing. You can find the mug here along with a demonstrative video. It’s not dishwasher safe but is microwavable.
