Here's What We Think About Choosing Between a Cupcake and a Cookie

By now we are sure that you have heard how trendy cupcakes have become but have you heard the recent rumour that cookies are making inroads into the territory that cupcakes are currently holding? That cookies may become the new cupcakes?

What do you think? Which is better? A delicious vanilla vanilla cupcake (yes that's two vanillas) or a just-out-of-the-oven, ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie? A rich double chocolate cupcake or a chewy fudge cookie? That brings us back to our basic question...which is better a cupcake or a cookie?

What do we think? Well, there's no question in our minds that CUPCAKES rule. They are a decadent treat and cookies are just so, well, everyday. That's not to say that we don't LOVE cookies, because we do but they are, in our minds, well, a bit ORDINARY.

What do you think? We thought it would be fun to hear what YOU have to say. Whether it is cookies or cupcakes that you love, we want to hear what you have to say!

The choices? Well, whatever cupcake you like be it a double chocolate cupcake, a marvelous maple syrup cupcake, a vanilla vanilla or even a lemon meringue cupcake versus a fresh-from-the-oven, ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie, an mmmmm good M&M Cookie, a spicy ginger cookie or whatever cookie comes first in your mind...

So, what do you think? Are cupcakes better than cookies?

Yes, you're right! Cupcakes definitely take the cake!

I love them both, but vegan chocolate cupcakes are pretty amazing.

I just can't possibly decide between the two. A cookie in one hand and a cupcake in the other, that's my motto! I do love the yummy pictures on this lens! Best of success to Food for Everyone - and this lens - in the Summer Sunshine contest!

I love the cupcake and cookie jigsaw puzzles. I do love cookies but if all that was available was cupcakes, I suppose I'd have to eat one.

I thought it was a sad day when our public school started forbidding parents from bringing cupcakes to classroom parties but rather just healthy stuff. I think a cupcake is very healthy both physically and emotionally. I have such fond memories of classroom parties with brightly sprinkled cupcakes. Great debate for a great charity. This lens will be featured on Squidoo's Summer Sunshine Award Nominees
