Diabetic Oven Fried Chicken

My father really has a love for fried foods and other things that he can’t really have because he is a diabetic and my mother try’s as much as possible to make sure he eat healthy so I have started cooking foods that are diabetic friendly so he can enjoy the things that he really loves to eat and the first thing was some Diabetic Oven Fried Chicken that I think will make him really happy and I want to share it with you.

Diabetic Oven Fried Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (4 ounces each)

4 small skinless chicken drumsticks (about 2 1/2 ounces each)

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups cornflakes, crushed in a food processor so it can be fine.

1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

2 egg whites

2 tablespoon water

Pinch of sea salt

Nonstick cooking spray

Methods

To begin working on this healthy but great tasting recipe set your oven to 350 degrees then clean you chicken and pull off any unwanted fat that may be on the chicken. Using a large bowl add all of the dry ingredients and mix very well until it’s all blended together. Now using a small bowl add your egg whites and your water and whip together with a fork.

To begin breading this chicken coat the chicken in the egg white batter then add it into the mixture making sure the chicken is fully coated add the chicken to a glass baking dish ad continue breading the chicken until you’re done.

Using the cooking spray gently spray the cooking spray over top of the chicken then place the chicken in the oven bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until juices run clear serve and enjoy.

Efficient Admin thank you so much i's a diabetic oven fried chicken but I reconstructed it o make it more refined I did that by taking the corn flakes and putting it in a food processor and turning them into corn flake crumbs then combined it to the flour.
