Green Smoothie Recipes

Green smoothies are not as scary as they used to be. People are catching on to the benefits of consuming a lot of greens. Consuming plenty of greens can be very difficult, this is why blending them can be the answer to "getting your greens in." It can e difficult to actually enjoy the taste of fresh, raw greens. However, if you add banana, and various other sweet fruits you will find that you can dramatically improve the taste of your smoothie. Here are a couple of easy to do, quick smoothie recipes.

Quick Healthy Smoothie # 1

What you Need:

1 celery stick, chopped

1/4 cucumber, chopped

1 small bunch kale

1 small bunch spinach

7 raspberries

7 strawberries

7 blackberries

1 banana

6 ice cubes, or more

1 to 2 cups water (for blending)

Instructions

Put the fruit into the blender first, add the ice and then the greens. Lastly, add the water. Blend until smooth.

Green Smoothie # 2

This is the recipe for the second green smoothie. For those who enjoy something a little bit sweeter, this will be the best recipe for you.

Here is what you need:

Ingredients

2 pears

2 bananas

1 bunch spinach

6 strawberries

1 to 2 cups water

5 to 6 ice cubes

Instructions

Put the fruit in first and then add the greens. Blend until smooth.
