Best Scotch in the Expensive price range

Updated on February 3, 2015

What is an expensive price for Single Malt Scotch Whisky?

Let me establish the price range I decided was 'expensive' for a bottle of Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

The minimum price range is 50GBP, $80 US Dollars or $78 Australian Dollars.

The maximum price range is 100GBP, $162 US Dollars or $152 Australian Dollars.

Of course these prices will shift as the exchange rate does and are based on currency conversions in January 2015.

A rare young Balblair bottled in the 1980s in a flat bottle with a label emphasising the distillery's (then) connections with Ballantine's blend.

A belter. "...the arrival on the palate is momentous...Fabulous...a must-have for any true Islayphile...94 points" Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2008

Bruichladdich 15 Year Old / 1st Edition - Islay - Price 100GBP
