The Minnesota State Fair
The Great Minnesota Get-Together has become famous World wide for it's dazzling display of Food on a Stick. This year the Minnesota State Fair will proudly boast that there are 78 different places where you can indulge on your favorite foods on sticks.
In 2009 Minnesota State fair-goers can dine on everything from Aligator on a stick to watermelon on a stick and everything in between.

Pronto Pups Versus Corn Dogs
The Pronto Pup was invented by George and Versa Boyington in the late 1930s for their hotdog stand on Rockaway Beach, on the northern Oregon coast.
Pronto Pups are suposedly different than corn dogs because the batter contains different ingredients. At the Minnesota State Fair we have Corn Dogs, Poncho Dogs, Pronto Pups and Super Dogs, which are all different versions of hot dogs dipped in batter and then deep fried.
The Great Corn Dog Debate
What do you think? Is there really a taste difference between Pronto Pups, Corn Dogs or whatever different names they have for deep fried hot dogs on sticks?
Can you taste the difference?
Yes, they are completely different
