Well, this one is not so much Poisoning but for the Muslims.
Some firms inject chickens with water to inflate them and then hold the chicken together with Protein Powder. What people don't know is that in this Protein powder - Pork and Meat are mixed together, so Muslims unknowingly eat it.

My wife and I ate the new potatoes on a buffet line our son didn't, thank God, he was little. Oh Man! We took turns over and over and over again! Talk about two sick people, Whoa!
I think we must have some type of testing system , before start eating.Any Food testing kit is available?
Potatoes are not known for harbouring or supporting the growth of bacteria, that domain is for meats, poultry, fish and dairy products that are all high protein, moist and support growth of bacteria.
When its from a buffet and its not a met based food it is likely noro virus that is causing it.
I think you just have to make sure you heat foods from cans and jars really, really, well. (Of course, with something like tuna in a can all you can do is either take the chance or not.) Wash fresh fruits and vegetables really, really, well. If you eat meat or fish make sure it's really cooked throughout. Storing it properly, handling it properly, and not eating food that's been around too long are good ideas too. Look for expiration dates on packages. Don't use cans that are dented or otherwise look "off". I aim to buy foods made by well known manufacturers/packagers. Problems can still occur, but I think it's less likely than with a "rinky dink" company. People I've known who have had food poisoning have gotten it from eating at a restaurant.

I have been lucky that I have not had food poisoning from canned or frozen foods. My one encounter with this foul affliction came after I took home an order from a food chain when they still closed at 11 pm. By morning I couldn't lift my head off the pillow and I was soooooooooooooo sick. I will not mention the name of the restaurant because to this day they are still my very favorite sandwich and they have since opened their doors 24/7 except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
As a former insurance adjuster here is a tip: In order to make a claim regarding food poisoning, go to the ER and provide them with a feces sample. That's the only way to test for food poisoning. If it comes back positive you've got it, if it doesn't you don't. I have adjusted many claims for this. It's unfortunate that some restaurants don't keep the food at the proper temperature, and in buffet lines, you don't know who's been there before you.
Also, never purchase any dented cans of food as this compromises the food inside the can.
I have had 2 bad cases of food poisoning. I have had more since then but have learned a way to put the breaks on it as soon as I know I have food poisoning. Its actually very simple and was suggested to me by my mother in law. I get out some cider vinegar and water, put as much cider vinigar in as I can stand with water and drink, again and again as much as I can get into my tummy as quick as I can. When I am first getting the tummy cramps that lead to the vomiting and such is when I do this as it really works. I have woke up in the middle of the night this way and spent maybe 2 hours drinking cider vinegar water as I could and was fine to go to work the next day, tho tired and very sensitive to eating anything more for a bit. I would suggest you try it next time you have the start of a miserable time .
Your home medicine tips is good. But prevention is better than cure . Is it not?
Prevention would be best of course. My problem is I love dodgy foods, like prawns. Even eggs can be dodgy. I do not remember the exact number but the percentage of eggs in this country that contain salmonella is appalling! I eat a lot of things that contain eggs such as mayo which has raw eggs as a main ingredient so in my diet I am taking a lot of risk. With cider vinegar in the house I am not that bothered and enjoy mayo in my sandwiches, baked goods, and yummy yummy seafood! The thing about cider vinegar is that it is the closest thing you can consume that is like the acids already in your stomach. It kills the viruses in your stomach so that they don't hit your gut creating the need for muscle cramps in the gut to kill the stream of viruses passing from the stomach. When the cider vinegar passes from the stomach into the intestines it will aid in killing the viruses there as well. The unpleasant and painful symptoms of food poisoning are your bodies way of trying to kill and expel these dangerous viruses. I am sure you know what I mean if you have ever had it coming out both ends and abdominal cramps so painful you think your going to die! I actually associate cider vinegar with relief now and the taste is comforting.
