What classic dish have you reinvented to give it a modern twist?
Experimentation in cooking is great fun and can often result in a delicious dish being invented almost by accident. Have you ever experimented with a so-called classic dish and reinvented it in a new and delicious form? What did you prepare and how did you change it?
I have reinvented, or added a healthy twist to Vegetable Lasagna. I used Grilled Polenta instead of Pasta and Grilled Vegetables along with a light sauce and seasoned light bean curd instead of ricotta. This done right can turn out a healthy yet tasty vegetable lasagna.
