What is the difference between eating at a fast food restaurant and eating at home?
Fast food is more convinient and it can sometimes be less expensive than preparing your own food, but not usually. Cooking your own food takes time, is usually healthier, and usually a bit more sanitary. At least when you prepare your own food you know what's happening to it during each step.
Cooking your own food is often healthier and more flavorful than food you would get at a fast food restaurant. It can also turn into a great bonding experience if you cook with someone else (a friend, a spouse, a child).
Fast food is great for when you're on the road, or just need to stop for a quick bite to eat but it should not become a habit or a fallback. Most fast food meals contain your entire day's worth of calories and aren't that satisfying taste wise.
Also I agree with nmdonders, it is much more sanitary.
Taste - Price -
Fast food always taste the same so there are no surprises .
At home we change our flavours and ingredients so as well as saving a fortune and eating healthier we have tastier meals !
Try a hamburger done on the bbq ! You will taste the diference !
At home you know what is in your food. At a fast food restaurant, we not only are not sure of the ingredients, quality etc. - we have to assume that johnny and jane doe washed their hands after using the restroom! YIKES!
Also the sodium and fat content are horrendous in pre-prepared foods. But on some days - they sure taste good.
eating at home is healthier but it takes your time. so eat out will be more convenient.
you can check at http://restaau.co.uk/ if you need to find a good restaurant near you.
First of all a home cooked meal on average is going to have a lot less sodium and processed sugar in it so it is a lot healthier. There is also on average less fat and preservatives in a home cooked meal.
The other difference is the cost. A home cooked meal can cost as little as $2.00 per person while eating at a fast food restaurant costs and average of $4.00 per person. That's double!!
Studies have also shown that people are a lot less likely to get food poisoning when they eat at home than when they eat out. Generally your kitchen is less contaminated than those of the average restraint.
Last but not least, I don't know about you but I am often disappointed at the food I receive from restaurants, especially fast food places. It never looks or tastes as good as it should.

Why would you want to work in a fast food restaurant? In just three years from working at Wendy's, I have become a mean person and I get annoyed and angry a lot faster than before. Should you tip at a buffet, fast food restaurant or coffee shop?A recent question asked 'when dining out at a restaurant, how much of a tip do you leave?' Waiters and waitresses are usually paid less than minimum wage so they depend on tips. What about employees that are paid at least...
