How to make great fried potatoes

Yields: One serving = ` 1 potato per person.
- 1 Russett Potato, Sliced as thin as possible. This is the secret to success.
- Coat pan with layer of Vegetable Oil
- Do not add salt to the potato until after it is cooked.
Never fry the potato in corn or olive oil, as oil will burn.
- Cook the potato on medium heat on the stove, you can't go wrong.
Do not cover frying pan.
Do not to cook more than one layer at a time.
Do not add water when cooking, potato will have a mealy taste.
Never put your potatoes that you get at the store in the refrigerator, as this will cause them to have a grainy texture.
Some people recommend soaking potato in cold water for 2 hours before cooking, but this is optional.
