How To Make Homemade Hot Salsa
I love spicy food so I am always looking for something new to try. I have a Mexican friend that I asked how to make a good hot salsa. After he told me I changed a few things to make it to my liking.
MY OWN PERSONAL RECIPE
What you need
- One onion
- Three tomatoes
- Four jalapeño peppers
- Some dried arbol chiles
- McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning
You take the stems off peppers and tomato. Make a few cuts in the onion. Now put the onion, tomatoes, and all the peppers and chiles in a large pot or saucepan. (I put about eight arbol chiles. You may want more or less. These make the heat.) Fill pot with water and boil until onion softens. (Only about 5 minutes). Drain the water out and put everything in a blender. Mix until well blended. A little water may be added if necessary. Add seasoning to taste. Serve warm or cold, with chips as a dip or spread on food. Enjoy!
(By the way I took this to my Mexican friend and he said that I should sell it to Mexican restaurants).
