Homemade Tortilla Chips
Tortilla Chips ... Delicious Cruchy Fun
Did you know that It is SO EASY to make delicious Homemade Tortilla Chips in your very own home. Yes, that is correct in under 15 minutes you will be sitting down and enjoying some pretty tasty tortilla chips.
Did you ever wonder how those restaurants make those delicious tortilla chips? Well I am going to show you exactly how easy this is. And they are so much better than store bought tortilla chips. Our restaurant makes approximately 100 gallons a day of these crunchy chips which we use for a wide variety of menu items. They are delicious and the secret is actually in the dusting spice we use to coats our chips.
There are many variations to making homemade chips and the one thing I must warn you about is that the kind which are made in all restaurants are the deep fried variety. Deep frying is an option, however if you are looking for a healthier alternative and easier, than baking them is your answer. Don't worry they will still taste fabulous.
I prefer baking to deep frying for the obvious health related reasons, but the best part is the ease. And yes, I am always looking for the shortcut.
And last but not least, don't forget to wash down your homemade tortilla chips with a refreshing Margarita. Cheers!
