CLAMS SICILIANA

This is the perfect time to roll out this steamed clam recipe. It is clam season somewhere!

What You'll Need:

2 dozen hard shell clams

2 tablespoons salad oil

2 cloves minced garlic

1/4 cup dry white wine

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

1/4 teaspoon salt

dash of black pepper

lemon wedges for garnish

What To Do:

Scrub the hard shell clams under running water until free of sand. Heat oil in large saucepan and saute' the garlic in hot oil. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Place the clams in the saucepan with cover. Cover; steam until the shells open. Heap the clams in a soup bowl. Spoon the sauce over the clams and garnish with lemon wedges.

Delicious!!
