Psh Who Needs Coffee When You Juice?

If you are like me you spend your mornings trying to convince yourself that getting out of bed is actually a good idea. Working from home I literally have to drag myself out from under the sheet, and head strait for the coffee pot. However much I love coffee something else has caught my eye lately and it's juicing. The whole world is loving the juice craze and the green juice craze so there must be something of truth to it! About a year ago I went on a juice cleanse to drop some weight and cleanse my body and after I felt amazing! My skin was glowing and my energy levels were through the roof! So much so I didn't even crave the energy boost that I often get from coffee. After my cleanse I was pretty juiced out and stopped juicing for a while. I mean ten days of strait juice anyone would! So I have made a challenge with myself to juice at least once a day! Come along with me on the juicing journey and I will share my favorite energy boosting juice recipes!

When I think of the color green it always brings back memories of laying in my family's fields enjoying the smells of the fresh grass and clover all around me. I spent countless hours in the summer just breathing in that smell of life, of energy. I think that is why it is so easy for me to accept that when it comes to food green usually screams energy! With this green juice you will find it easier and easier to not reach for your cup of coffee in the morning but indulge in this sweet delight instead!

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch Green Grapes
  • 1 Bunch Of Kale
  • 1 Bunch Of Parsley
  • 4 Green Apples

Instructions

  1. Place in a juicer and enjoy!

This juice is packed with vitamins and nutrients that will help you not only with energy, but will improve your eye sight, skin, and digestion.

Ingredients

  • 3 Oranges
  • 1/4 Inch Ginger
  • 5 Large Carrots
  • 1 Apple

Instructions

  1. Place through your juicer and enjoy!
  2. *Make sure to core apple and remove the orange peel*

Energy Boost Orange Juice

There is little more that I love in the morning than a huge glass of orange juice. There is something about it that is so refreshing, like a big glass of sunshine! I thought I would share my energy boost orange juice for you all to try!

Ingredients

  • 4 Oranges
  • 1 Handful of Strawberries
  • 1 Handful of Spinach
  • 1/2 Cucumber

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients through your juicer and enjoy!
  2. *Make sure to peel your oranges*

Wheat Grass Wonder Drink!

Wheat grass is a great go to when looking to add a boost to any of your juices. Known for it's energy inducing abilities, it is great for the am, or mid-afternoon pick me up!

Ingredients

  • 3 Carrots
  • 2 Stalks Of Celery
  • 3 OZ Wheat Grass
  • 2 Apples
  • 1/2 Lemon

Instructions

  1. Juice and enjoy!

Green Mean Energy Machine!

If you are looking for an energy boost that is out of this world, this green juice is for you! With it's beautiful ruby color, this green juice is bursting with energy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Cup Kale
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • 1/2 Green Apple
  • 1/4 Cup Parsley
  • 1/2 Inch Ginger
  • 1/2 Lemon

Beet The Heat Juice!

If you are feeling under the weather, or just trying to avoid getting sick this juice is amazing! The broccoli and garlic in this juice will help your body to fight off infection and feel good!

  • 1/2 Beet
  • 4 Carrots
  • 1 Cup Broccoli
  • 2 Stalks Celery
  • 1 Clove Of Garlic
  • 1/2 Red Pepper
