Just Tomatoes

Updated on June 20, 2013

Although really it's more than Tomatoes

Just Tomatoes makes freeze dried fruits and vegetables. Pretty simple, but delicious. I love them. Last Christmas my husband gave me a small package of the just veggies mix and I instantly was hooked. I love the convenience of being able to add veggies to anything I am making with such ease. And that's not mentioning how good they are on their own. They even make a great healthy snack for children.

Just Tomatoes

It all started here.

These are actual tomato slices that have been dehydrated. The dehydration gives these tomatoes a chewy texture and intense taste. They also look great when you use them in your cooking.

Organic Just Strawberries

Most of their varieties come in an organic version as well.

These freeze dried berries don't last long. I like to add them to oatmeal, that is IF there are any left. I first fell in love with freeze dried strawberries when My family visited the Smithsonian in Middle School. I loved the astronaut fruit and ice cream, but the dehydrated pizza wasn't so great.

Freeze dried fruit is great for babies learning to self feed.

My son is almost six months old now and soon will be ready to start self feeding. When my daughter who is now almost five was a baby we used the Gerber brand dried fruit, but it was so expensive that it was more a special treat than a daily part of our feeding routine. Now that I have discovered Just Tomatoes I am excited to be able to offer an even greater selection of heathy real fruits and veggies to my son. Also, Just Tomatoes process their foods separately so we can be sure there is no contamination of foods he has not tried yet, or may have allergies to.

Have you tried Just Tomatoes? - Let us know.

I have never tried Just Tomatoes. I like tomatoes so I am sure that I probably would like these too. It's another Road Trip for the SquidAngels. I stopped by to leave this Memorial Day Weekend blessing from a SquidAngel.

Oh, I love Just Tomatoes. I tried them at a wine festival when they first came out and have been hooked ever since.

That actually sounds pretty good. We just changed our diet, and are trying to eat more fruits and veggies. We are also taking juice plus to help supplement our fruits and veggie intake. Check it out here if you haven't heard about it already. www.zumbatashatakesjuiceplus.com

Now I'm gonna try this. Tomato is one of my favorites, it's good for the skin due to its antioxidant properties and rich in Vit C.
