Yesterday i was just passing through my moms recipe book and fortunately i found this. Mamma used to gift this cake. I can still feel the mesmerizing aroma it used to sent out. Its one of the most delicious cake I've tasted

100 grams –flour

100 grams- powdered sugar

40-cashew nuts

50 grams-raisins

80 grams-butter

1 –egg

½ teaspoon –vanilla essence

A pinch- salt

¼ teaspoon-baking soda

¼ cup curd

½ cup orange juice

½ orange peel

Chop the cashew nuts, raisins and orange peel. Sieve flour, salt and baking soda together. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and cream well. Add flour with the fruits, essence and curd. Pour in a cake tin and bake in a moderate hot oven till done. Remove from the oven and add orange juice with 1 teaspoon sugar. Put back the cake into the oven for 2 minutes. The cake is now ready.
