Koolaid Popcorn Recipe

The ingredients You Will Need:

-2 cups Granulated sugar

-1 cup Light Corn syrup

-2/3 cup butter or margerine

-2 Packets of koolaid (any flavor)

-1 teaspoon of baking soda

-3 bags of popcorn, popped

Directions:

Pop 3 bags of microwave popcorn. (We like using movie theater butter, but any kind you wanna try is fine.)

Put the popcorn in a deep casserole dish. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.

Combine koolaid packets and baking soda in a separate bowl.

Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in a saucepan and heat until boiling. (stirring occasionally)

Continue to stir boiling liquid for 3 minutes, then take off the heat.

Combine koolaid and baking soda with the sugar liquid and stir until well mixed. (Be careful, the liquid will rise a bit when the baking soda is added.)

Drizzle the sugar and koolaid mixture over the popcorn in the casserole dish and carefully mix.

Bake for 10 minutes, remove, and mix again.

Repeat this last step 3 more times.

Let the popcorn cool and break it up into pieces

Enjoy your fruity popcorn!

You can also break up the recipe and make multiple flavors and combine them in the end for a popcorn fruit salad!

*******You can also use jello!!********
