Easy Mexican Pasta Recipe

 This Mexcian Pasta Recipe serves 4 portions and has a preparation time of 10 minutes. Cooking time is 20 minutes

You will need the following utensils to cook you easy mexican pasta

A large frying pan

A wooden spoon

A stove

A kettle

A measuring jug

You will need the following ingredients to cook your easy mexican pasta

300 grams of lean or extra lean beef mince

1 diced or chopped red pepper

15 ml of cooking oil

250 gram box of mexican mince mate

800 ml of hot water

200 grams of corn kernels

410 grams of red kidney beans

5 ml of your chosen mexican seasoning from any spice store

The easy step by step preparation directions for your mexican pasta

  1. In a large frying pan, add the cooking oil and fry up the mince and red peppers unitl soft.
  2. Now add the packet of seasoning mix from the box of mince mate to the 800 ml of hot water and give it a stir until mixed. Add this to the frying pan together with the uncooked pasta and bring it all to the boil.
  3. Stir occasionally and cook until you are happy with the pasta consistency.
  4. Now reduce the heat and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes whilst continuing to stir occasionally to prevent sticking on the bottom.
  5. Now add the corn kernels , red kidney beans and mexican seasoning spices you have chosen and allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes. Remove form the stove and serve.

Add a salad and some mexican tortilla for an added side for your table setting.
