Best New Kitchen Gadgets & Cooking Tools 2011

Updated on December 28, 2011

Kitchen Gadgets are Fun to use and Make Great Gifts!

Here are some new and unique kitchen gadgets. My favorite is the One Click Butter Cutter, which eliminates the forever messy butter dish. It's a butter cutter that stores and slices butter.

My second favorite gadget is the Homemade Ravioli Press. Nothing beats making your own ravioli! So yummy!

These are great gift ideas for people who like to cook. Get them something unique!

Simply load a stick of butter into the One Click Butter Cutter and with "one click" the stainless steel blade slices off a perfect pat of butter.

Check out the video.

Available for $12 here.

Ravioli Maker - A fun tool for making homemade ravioli to perfection!

Spiral Vegatable Cutter - Great for making unique salads, creative vegetable side dishes, and appetizers!

Grill Brush with Steam - Makes Cleaning up Your Grill Fast & Easy!

Grill Daddy GD12952S Pro Grill Brush - Cleans BBQ Easily with the Power of Steam without Harmful Chemical Solutions - For Use on All Stainless Steel, Iron & Porcelain Barbecue Grates
Grill Daddy GD12952S Pro Grill Brush - Cleans BBQ Easily with the Power of Steam without Harmful Chemical Solutions - For Use on All Stainless Steel, Iron & Porcelain Barbecue Grates

This gadget is described as "ingenious..." It actually works quite well. The hot grill makes the water inside this tool steam, and the steam really helps clean the grill well. You can get the grill back to almost brand new looking!

Will it blend?

Blendtec, who sells The Total Blender, has created a series of videos called "Will it Blend?" Watch an iPhone blend in this video...

The Cherry Pitter is the #1 Kitchen Gadget on Amazon. It's not exactly revolutionary or fun to look at, but it sure is useful!

Kitchen Gadgets on Ebay

You never know what you might find on Ebay... Here are a few of the ones currently up on auction :)

Too many times I've had to rely on the "Sniff" test but now with these stick on digital counters, they will keep track of how long it's been since I opened something up. No more icky leftovers!

Check out the review at The Gadgeteer.

Roasted Garlic Express

I received one of these Electric Garlic Roasters for my birthday this year. If you love roasted garlic, you will love these! They are very easy to use and save you from having to heat up your oven an wait a whole hour. The Roasted Garlic Express cooks up to 3 garlic bulbs in under a half hour.

Apparently there are several types of corn removal tools on the market, but this is the first I've seen.

It can be purchased for $12 here.

Doesn't it seem like a good match for the One Click Butter Cutter?

Please share your thoughts :) If you know of a cool kitchen tool that isn't featured here, please let me know... I just may add it!

What do you think about these kitchen gadgets?

You have to get a 'g-Spout" Has to be this year's Best New Kitchen Tool. Its an amazing silicone spout with attachable strainer perfect for pouring off that hot greasy fat off bacon and hamburger. Talk about lowering your family's cholestoral. Not to mention the environment No More Fat Down the Sink. We love it and my daughters use if for pouring cupcakes and pancakes, it eliminates the drips and baked on batter. The website is http://www.g-spout.com What has taken so long people to invent this?

One of my favorite kitchen gadgets is the garlic peeler. It's a rubbery tube, with a slick surface. Pop the clove inside, roll it around, and the peel pops right off!
