Super fast pumpkin casserole recipe
If you love pumpkin, this is a must-have recipe. It's so fast and easy that you can have the kids mix it up while you're preparing something else. Help them with the oven, of course.
Pumpkin casserole is not as sweet as you might think. It's a perfect accompaniment to poultry or pork. It bakes up nicely even if you use less sugar. What a great way to add variety and lots of vitamins to your meal.
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter
2 pinches ground cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, melted butter and ground cinnamon to taste. Spoon into a casserole dish.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.
