recipe for imitation crab.
Never Fail Imitation Crab
You will need imitation crab, check the number of portions your container holds or buy about 1/4 pound crab per guest.
Large bowl... one pound of cheddar cheese, or whatever cheese you prefer. but cheddar bakes nicely and looks good too. glass of white wine.
3 whipped eggs small can of Anaheim chili's, chopped or diced. 1 cup milk (non fat) 1 can diced tomatoes (medium size will do)drain the water. small chopped green pepper 1 small, chopped red pepper grated cheese cube butter or margarine black ground pepper
Make(boil) a pound or two(depending on how many guests) of pasta, such as angel hair or small macaroni or thin spaghetti you don't want to overwhelm your dish with heavy pasta. make or get some small croutons, about a cup and one half. preheat oven to 275 use some of the margarine or butter to lightly grease the bowl, just hold the cube, tear off the paper, and spread it around. throw the remainder of the butter into the bowl. Put everything but cheese, black pepper ,croutons, the red pepper, and 1/4 the crab into the bowl. whip the eggs and then mix with other contents. ready your cheese slices to place on top.
Place the rest of the crab in the center of the bowl . you may have to make a small hole in the pasta... Lightly sprinkle black pepper ( and salt if you cook with it, I don't)on the top. sprinkle grated cheese on the top. Sprinkle the diced, red pepper around.. Layer the cheese slices and place on top. Sprinkle the croutons around. Pop into the oven for around 25 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted. This will depend on your oven. Also, add more milk if you use more pasta
