Red Wine Summer Punch

Updated on June 9, 2014

I found this recipe in a family cookbook and adapted it slightly to my own taste. Nothing says summer like punch and the cheery red color is perfect for the season! Enjoy it on your porch or at the beach, or at a picnic or party. Just remember that it is alcoholic, keep away from children, and drink responsibly!

Cook Time

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 6 oz brandy
  • 6 oz raspberry liqueur
  • juice of 2 lemons

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher or punch bowl.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Serve over ice.
  4. Garnish with orange slices.

@Charito1962: It is. I could use some right now in fact but noon seems a little early for alcohol. LOL!

@SusanDeppner: It is but you can always adjust the potency down..or up for that matter but I wouldn't recommend that!
