Salsa Recipe - Easy to Make and Delicious Homemade Recipes

Salsa Ferment Ingredient

This Salsa Recipes are perfect for your favorite Mexican dishes.

"Salsa is the Spanish word for sauce. It refers to a condiment, a mixture of chopped vegetables, fruits and seasonings that may be cooked or raw. This is normally chopped and not pureed, and is a side to a main dish. The main ingredients in easy salsa recipes are tomatoes, garlic, onions and chiles. Salsas are thicker and chunkier than picante sauces. Salsa can be fresh, cooked or bottled.

This is a very simple salsa recipe. Simple ingredients are blended to created a flavorful spicy mixture that's great with tortilla chips and on maxican-style foods.

(1). Easy Salsa Recipe:-

This Easy Salsa Recipe is one of my favorites.


8 ounce(225 gm)can diced tomatoes,undrained

1 tbsp(5 ml)onion flakes

1/8 tbsp(.625 ml)minced garlic

1/2 tbsp(2.5 ml)lime juice

1/8 tbsp(.625 ml)

1/8 tbsp(.625 ml) cumin

1/4 of a 4 ounce(25 gm)can green chillies, undrained

Cilantro, to taste

Hot sauce(optional) to taste


Place the tomatoes, onion, garlic, lime juice, salt, cumin, green chillies, cilantro and hot sauce(if you desire) in a blender jar. Blend to desired consistency.


(2). Tomato Salsa:-




3 large, red ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped

1 garlic clove, peeled and minced

3/4 cup onion, chopped

3 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped

2 tbsp olive oil

1 ½ stalks of celery, minced

2 tbsp lime juice

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or ½ tbsp dried

¼ tbsp chili powder or to taste

1/2 tbsp salt or to taste



1.- Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onions, celery, peppers, and garlic. Sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.

2.- Combine all the ingredients, bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, covered and continue cooking for 1o-15 additional minutes.

3.- Ladle the salsa into two 1-cup freezer containers and let cool. You can keep the salsa in the freezer for at least 6 months. Thaw it in the refrigerator before using.

Serve with chips, tortillas, tacos, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, or black beans.

This healthy homemade tomato salsa recipe is great with everything.

(3). Easy Mexican Salsa Recipe:-


2 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped

2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped

1 garlic clove, peeled and minced

2 small white onions, chopped

2 tbsp cilantro, chopped

2 tbsp lime juice or apple cider vinegar

1/2 tbsp salt or to taste


1.- Combine the tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, garlic, onion and cilantro together in a bowl.

2.- And now add the lime juice or red wine vinegar and salt to taste.

3.- Mix well, and let stand about 30 minutes before serving.

Try some fat free chips, great on potatoes, rice and anything else, as you like.

This is a very easy to make and delicious Mexican Salsa Recipe.

(4). Hot Mexican Salsa Recipe:-


2 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

2 tbsp serrano chile, chopped

2 tbsp olive oil

1 1/2 tbsp fresh green Anaheim chiles, finely chopped

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

Just a pinch of oregano

1 tbsp cumin powder

2 tbsp chopped, cilantro

1/2 tbsp salt or to taste


1. Combine all ingredients, accept cumin powder and cilantro, in a saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, stirring occasionally and simmer for 5 minutes.

2.- Remove the heat and add the cumin powder and chopped cilantro. And then mix well.

3.- Cool and refrigerate.

Serve with corn tortilla chips, enchilades or tacos, or as a relish or condiment to your favourite Mexican Food Recipes.
