Sausage Bacon Cheese Dip
When you host your next game day get together try this delicious and creamy dip, served hot.
This tasty hot dip starts out as sausage gravy converted into a dip by adding shredded cheese.
It's great served with small rounds of sourdough and/or rye bread, Ritz crackers, Townhouse Butter Club crackers, etc...
This recipe is so versatile, any leftovers can be be used for next days dinner by adding milk to thin and use over cooked rice or pasta.

Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk pork sausage
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 c chopped onions
- 2 tbs garlic - finely chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 2 c your choice of shredded cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 c Cooked Bacon crumbles
- 2 tbs dried parsley
Instructions
- Cook sausage until no longer pink. Do Not Drain.
- Add onions and garlic, cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
- Add flour; coating sausage mix; continue cooking for about 2-5 minutes to let flour brown up.
- Gradually add milk. Stir well.
- Add bacon, seasoning & parsley. Stir well.
- Gradually add grated cheese, stirring constantly.
- Bring to a gentle boil making sure all cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
- The consistency should be moderately thick, but pourable.
- Immediately pour into your favorite serving/dip dish.
