Tip to Make Kids Love Chicken Soup

Even if it is not your child's case, I am sure you know at least one example of kid who doesn't want to eat anything except pasta and chips.

Well, there is a trick invented in Israel that makes kids eat their soup without nagging about it. It's called "soup almonds". They are a sort of mini croutons that remain crunchy after being dipped in the soup.

Soup Almonds Commercial

Here is an commercial the Israeli manufacturer (Osem) used to promote their soup almonds (as if they needed any promotion at all). The clip is in Hebrew, but you will get the idea. All you need to understand is how kids feel about soup almonds.

Soup Almonds on eBay

Check the prices on eBay, too. If it's going to be a common purchase within your household, the costs are important. The taste is the same!

I love adding lots of "stuff" to my soup...i.e. barley, tiny potatoes, green beans, rice, roasted veggies, etc. and not all but pick and choose depending on the soup base. Wishing you lots of luck in the January Food Club Contest :)
