How to Make Teacup Cakes
Teacup cakes are very simple to make
It's super easy to make adorable teacup cakes. All you need is either an oven safe tea cup or a silicon tea cup mold. Any cake recipe, or even boxed cake mix, will do. Simply make your cake batter as usual (I only use homemade, but boxed cake mix would work too) and instead of pouring into a greased cake pan, you pour into a greased tea cup and bake it right in the cup! I grease my teacups by getting a stick of butter and rubbing it all over the inside of the cup. You could also use shortening and flour just like when greasing a cake pan.
The result is a super cute individual tea cup cake! Frost and decorate it and serve it right in the cup.
