Twilight Cupcake Toppers
Easy Twilight Cupcakes for Twilight Party Food!
TWILIGHT CUPCAKE TOPPERS
Twilight party food is hugely popular right now, and a favourite staple of many a Twilight party is a stack of delicious Twilight cupcakes!
Even if, like the Cullens, you are not accustomed to setting foot in the kitchen much, you can still create dazzling designs with Twilight cupcake toppers. All you need to do is bake some cupcakes and pop on some fondant or frosting - no fiddling with fondant shapes and patterns! In fact, you don't even need to bake at all - you can just decorate some plain store-bought cupcakes!
There are lots of designs to choose from, ranging from the book covers to Bella and Edward moments, current Eclipse toppers to cool designs like the Cullen crest.
This lens shows you how to make Twilight cupcakes using this method and where to find the best Twilight cupcake toppers for your creations!

How to Use Twilight Cupcake Toppers
Using cupcake toppers to decorate your Twilight cupcakes is easy. Rice paper toppers sometimes come pre-cut, but usually they are in sheets. All you need to do is cut them out and voila, an instant decoration for your cupcake!
Rice paper is completely edible and can either sit directly on top of your cupcake, or on top of the icing or frosting. They do have a tendency to curl up so you may need to apply a dab of frosting, buttercream or royal icing to act as a "glue".
Be creative with your toppers. They don't have to simply sit flat on your cake! They can nestle into a gooey frosting, or why not make tiny cookies or cut out small circles of sponge to stick them to, before popping on top of the cupcake frosting!
I used some of these cupcake toppers to make Twilight Eclipse Fire and Ice Cupcakes. Here's an Edward one:

Twlight Baking Cups for Twilight Cupcakes - Present your Twilight Cupcakes in dazzling red
You'll want your Twilight cupcakes to be completely in theme, so baking cups in either red or black are ideal. These are a perfect idea because they are silicone and can be used again and again!
Edward and Bella Twilight Cupcake Toppers
For the ultimate Twilight cupcake theme, it has to be Bella and Edward! Go for sweeping romance with images of the couple in the meadow, in each other's arms, and so on.
You can add to the romantic theme with fondant or chocolate hearts on top of your cupcakes as well, or stick the toppers to them! Or opt for lion and lamb motifs, or little signs with Bella and Edward or B&E written on them.
Twilight Birthday Cupcake Toppers
Bella New Moon Party and Other Birthday Themes
Create beautiful party food for a Twilight birthday party with some birthday cupcakes.
You can base the cakes on Bella's birthday party in New Moon - either Alice's pink party theme in the book version, or the Gerbera Daisy Cake version in the movie.
There are lots of Bella designs available to add to your cupcakes!

Twilight Book Cake Cupcakes
Another great theme for your cupcakes using toppers is the Twilight Saga book covers. They look simple but stunning and you get to put out four different designs quickly and easily.
You can add accents if you wish, for example a fondant apple, iris, ribbon and chess piece.
