Winespeak

Updated on January 14, 2013

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Winespeak

This light-hearted lens is designed to assist fermented fruit lovers (old and new) to find their bearings in the Wonderful World of Winespeak.

It is also a tribute to a very talented British artist and satirical cartoonist by the name of Ronald Searle, (1920-2011), whose words of wit make it a good deal easier to swish and spit into the bucket or simply to swig and swallow as the case may be.

So, without further ado...here's to you and your's, may you be blessed by big bodacious beauty like Merilyn Merlot or the mischievous Malebec Man!

A Twisted Christmas Tale

The pesky pint-sized people from Saint What's It All About Academy for Heavenly Angels were out playing in the soggy wet snow, when to their amazement, something utterly unexpected dropped from the sky -- was it a bird, was it a plane, was it Superman?

No, dear readers it was a frightful fellow in a sybaritic suit with a bag of loot who didn't give a hoot. So, as fate would have it, the rascals raised a rucous when they didn't find what they were looking for ...a frigging frog prince and at least a little something to whet the whistle.
