    Why do you worry ?  Have any deposits there ? Or are you employed there ?
    Tamilians normally wont worry about things not affecting them. ?

      Some American Banks thivaled that effect , Our Indian SENSEX goes to down (20,000 >>> 9000)


      Now One more Banking ,  that bank also popular in india .




      More rumour comes with ICICI , But  i think that good condition .

    City Bank have more Branches in India and also tamil nadu .


    Google given check from city bank . so i planed to open new one a/c with City bank.

    But now i forgot that plan.

    The Fed just promised to back $306 billion in Citi assets and loaned them $20 billion. How they can do this I don't know. We are handing out staggering sums of money to failing institutions as if we actually have it. It's nuts.

    Mathi, you may revert to your original plan. You may open an account with citibank. Because the US Govt has declared a bail-out plan for them today.

          i am already have a account in indian bank . but that taken more day to credit . so only i am think to City bank .

          but i am not open that immidiatly ..
