Hello -
I'm trying to figure out two factors:
1) keywords
2) tags
Here is the hub - http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Use-a-Cat-Flea-Comb
Am I using the proper tags?
Are the keywords and phrases aimed at the right audience, namely, cat owners with flea problems?
I appreciate your comments and experience.
Thanks -
do you use Google adword: keyword tool? If not here you can find it https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/ … earch.none
I am no expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt. But looking up a couple of your tags, here is what I see:
cat scratching medium competition with 22,200 local searches
Other words that could be used:
cat scratch low competition with 40,500 searches
cat scratches low competition with 40,500 searches
Look all your keywords up this way and use them. These are what people type into google to find stuff. You want them to find you. I use a few high competition words with lots of searches, and then I search for words with medium and low competition. I would add those word to my tags. I might take the words I like the best and add them to my text in a couple of places.

Hi, folks! Since I first wrote this particular article, I've learned a whole lot about using capsules, photos, links, captions, sidebars, tag types, etc. I've re-edited the entire hub, and I wonder what you think of it? (Especially anyone who may have happened...

I thought I would start publishing some search engine tips to help everyone to get some extra hits from the search engines.1. Long TailDo you know what the Long Tail is. I seem to have an awful lot of tags for my hubs- most of them are phrases that I "intuitively" tagged my hubs with ( I'll find out how "right" I was in the 30 day challenge I guess)It is usually better to have more or less tags and what are the drawbacks to having too many or...

When I read tutorials my head spins. So please give me an example using my topic: a recipe for baked salmon. If the title is "How to make Herb-crusted baked salmon", and I use the phrases "salmon fillet" "fish" throughout the hub, that's not optimizing right? Examples...
