I just recently started writing on here a few days ago. I'm not sure if my articles are interesting to any one, or even considered "Well Written". I do have some grammatical errors, I would assume. Anyway, if there is anything you would find interesting for me to do an article on, or investigate I am open to your suggestions. I have ideas of my own, but i'm not sure if they have the public resonance I need to generate a lot of followers. Thank you very much, in advance and happy reading!
Oops typo already. Critique, not critic. Don't hurt me please!!!
A'ight.. here we go.
First off, I think you have a good niche market here.. I mean, hell, pretty much every woman goes shopping at the mall at least occasionally. But, in much the same regard, I wouldn't recommend getting stuck in only one niche. You'll have greater earning potential if you try different things.
I looked over your hub, "Why you should leave your credit card at home.", as it looked most promising. The article was well written, but personally I don't believe it will receive that much traffic. The reason is simple, but the understanding the reason takes time. So, my suggestions:
Take a look at the stats from your page: The article is 378 words in length, and your top three keyphrases are "credit cards", "credit card", and "your credit."
In my opinion, a good hub article runs between 500 to 1500 words long. This gives Google something to really latch on to. At the very least, I would recommend staying above 500 words.
Your keywords matter a great deal. I would recommend doing some research on S.E.O. There's a lot of great articles here about that, so use them as much as you can. The keywords you choose to use should relate to the kind of traffic you want to draw. For example, if a sign outside a mall store read , "Hatworld", I doubt very much if someone looking to buy shoes would enter.
Typically, I first write my article in MSWord. That gives me a good idea of the word count and readability of the article. I then copy it into HubPages, add the necessary pictures (pictures do spice up an article), and hit publish. After it's published, I use a keyword checker tool and then go back and edit as necessary - without really altering the content of the article.
I think you have a lot of potential.. it takes time to master these things - God knows I still haven't - but you're well on your way.
Write what you're passionate about, and others will notice.
Welcome to HP. You have a good start as you have written 8 quick hubs.
Few places to improve:
~you need more words in your hubs
~you should split your text in more text capsules so that you leave more space for ads.
~you should use your best keywords and title after doing some research with a keyword tool. You used too many tags in few hubs that may cause a penalty in your hubscore and the hubs may get flagged for excessive tagging. There is no rule of the ratio but I can suggest you an hypothetical ratio:
350-600 word- around 20 tag
600-1000 words- around 25 tag
1000-1500- around 30 tag
1500+ >up to 40 or more depending on how much you extend your hub.

If we find that our new site for health is falling drastically, wouldn't it be a good idea if we scrapped it and gave it back just as hubpages again? I keep reading that google only likes professional health articles. Actually that annoys me because who better to know, understand and experience the...

Lyricsingray started the excellent thread "Recommend another hubbers hub"....I thought that it would be a great idea to dive much deeper into the depths of this vast lake of words and pluck out some treasure. So rather than recommend a hub by some of the big fish who have already been...
