Woo hoo, I finally opened an Etsy store for my hubby's segmented wood vases.  Now I need a banner but have no clue how to make one! I have photoshop, but I'm not very proficient at it. sad

Jane, go to the digital point forum and ask around. When I need banner or logo work done, I search there first and I usually get it done for less than a few dollars and in many cases only a couple hours.

        Thanks for the idea.

I actually played a bit today with it & I think I might have it, if hubby doesn't like it, I'll definitely check out that forum!

I see this is a very old post and it even warns against replying to it. However if you need help or ever will I can use my programs to pitch in and give you a hand. I use Photoshop CS5 and well, all the rest of the Adobe programs as well. I have a ad on the hub site

Sounds exciting getting his business off and running.  His vases sound interesting...are you going to do a hub-page about it?  Hope you find some help with your banner:)

I found my Etsy banner for $4 from one of the other Etsy sellers. I generally try to do things on my own, but in the end I got a banner I really like that I probably would have spent a couple of hours dinking around trying to figure out how to make. It can't hurt to check out the offerings around the site if you have a couple bucks to spare smile.

These guys got some good reviews in the warrior forum a while back.  I haven't used them yet, but I intend to give them a shot as their prices are very good.

You can use Photoshop and Image Ready to make an animated gif to use as a banner but I am quite rusty too

Hi Jane, you could also try to use Canva.com.They have a few really nice social media templates. It might be easier to work off a template. Good luck to your hubby with the store. Super exciting. If you want royalty free images to add to the banner, try Pixabay.com.

Hi, thank you for the tips! I'll be sure to tell John about Canva.com and its great social media templates. Working with templates is a godsend! I wish your husband the best of luck with the store, it's so exciting! If you need free, copyright-free images for your banner, check out Pixabay.com.
