So now that U. N. Security Council wants nothing to do with this man. North Korea has been thrown back into Washington's lap.
Well, that's just great. For all those who don't live in this country, it might surprise you when I say, "America wants nothing to do with this guy." Why does he have to be our problem all the time? Every country ignores him. Why is America stuck dealing with him; when he doesn't get enough attention by the International community?
If he is launching long range missiles; and those missiles are directed towards America. The United States will not be the only ones effected by this. Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the rest of South America, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, etc. This list goes on and on. Kim Jong II is not just our problem.
It seems now that America is going to have to decide how to "punish" him. Why do we have to punish him at all? He launched a rocket, that fell into pieces right after take off. If he keeps on like this, he is liable to blow up China on accident. Why isn't it China's responsibility?
America just wishes he'd go away, run his country and behave himself. Americans, do you or do you not agree? Non- Americans, would you agree that this is a no win situation? What good can possibly come out us interacting with them?
One missile will hit one country... not all the countries in the new continent. In a sense, N.Korea can be treated as US' neighbour, no land in between! So, the worry is worthy. If allowed, communists will swallow the entire E.Asia and pose a direct threat to America. Your Alaska is very near to them and their missiles.
We should consider whether for a population of just 30 million people is nuclear capability required? China or Russia is going to use N.Korea as a pawn send them to the forefront in a crisis.
Because the nuclear impact will affect other countries, North Korea should not be singled out and prevented from arming themselves. Those who are fully armed with nuclear weapons, have no right to prevent others from doing so. If Korean weapon radiates and affects the people, so will the American, Russian and Chinese weapons. Our policy should be banning nuclear weapons fully and not selectively.

Joe Biden is itching to start talks with Iran from day 1 of his presidency. But the Iranians know that they have him cornered as his department is making all sorts of defeatist noises. They also know that he shows a veneer of toughness to China but again he is compromised on his relations....

I heard this yesterday and today.http://www.kansascity.com/2010/07/23/21 … ponse.htmlDoes N.Korea really understand what will happen to them if they Nuke our Navy? And what do you think should be our response to a Military strike against our navy by N.Korea?

Every day I refresh my "North Korea" search on Goolge news, but always the same ol' story. "North Korea threatens to attack bla bla bla...". I wonder will leader Kim Jong Un actually do carry out any of his proposed threats. Possibly he is just talking the talk as to strengthen...
