Just a note to,The Congress. WE THE PEOPLE, tell you what we want. You, The Congress, do not tell, WE THE PEOPLE, what we are going to do.
There are a few of you that seem to have forgotten, YOU WORK FOR US. We do not work for you.
Now get it right.
OLY
PS, the Country is not broke. The Government is broke. I think this problem has been brought about, by, all the lobbyist's who are rubbing elbows with all the, EPA activist.
My simple formula goes like this.
EPA = Money. Money = Power to buy, so, the EPA finds a Lobbyist's from there State and makes a deal.
Now the Lobbyist's finds a, Senator or Congress person from there State, and cuts a deal.
I have given our National debt problem a lot of thought and this is my newest solution I have come up with.
We could be overlooking the wrong source for our problem. we could be jumping the wrong people.
I thinking it is not the, Government that is at fault. It is the EPA and The Lobbyist's who are pulling The Government down.
Now before you all come unglued at me, take some time as I have and see if I might make just a little sense with this thought.
We all know that there is something wrong with this picture, but, where it is, well this post is jus my thoughts on it.
I will be posting this all over, because, I need all the impute on this thought I can get.
Mind you, this is just a thought from, ONE TIRED OLD TIMER.
Regards,
Mr. Orlin E OLY Olson
yep ONE TIRED OLD TIMER you could be on the right track, but the EPA is part of the government.
well we start with removing them all and start over in two words "Term Limits"
You mean this,
http://www.petition2congress.com/3631/go/
I started this awhile back.
It's a start.

A few years ago "we the people" of Idaho voted to institute term limits in the state legislature. As it worked out, the politicians left for (Christmas, I think) break, the people's vote was taken and it became law. The day the politicians returned to work they voted it out as it had not been a constitutional amendment, just a state law. We the people are no longer heard at all, just the rustle of folding green paper.
Unfortunately, you are correct. WE THE PEOPLE, don't count any more, but, I still like the sound of it.
OLY
Yes. If we the people counted, there would have been no George Bush Junior as president. and there would be no tea party.
It just proves that the government only looks at their own backs, and the backs of the people who prop them up with the billions in donatons, while the little guy gets crapped on and swept under a rug, while they hope he doesn't smell or make too much noise to prove what back stabbers they are.
you can not keep a Republic with out moral action. Our Congress and Senate are for sale...so
who knows any more
I am one of the People. The first step to dealing with the national debt is collecting enough to cover the expenses of government. So collect fair taxes from businesss, stop the corporate welfare to big oil, close tax loopholes for the rich (like capital gains). I'm one of the People. Fair taxes now!

Some thoughts:No campaign contributions allowed all campaigns are funded by a tiny flat tax every party receives a given amount to publicize their views so long as they can get say 50 000 party members. Yearly full IRS audit for all major elected officials.A limit on legal fees for any court case...

Do you think Trump will push for Term Limits to shake up Congress? There are many members of Congress who have lived most of their adult lives as elected members of Congress - clearly in defiance to what the founders intended a representative government to be. Are you in support of limiting...

Now that the Trumplicans in the Senate abdicated on their duty to hold a fair trial and voted to let Donald Trump remain in office, did that mark the end of our democracy as we know it?Consider:1. There isn't a thing a president can do that will warrant removal if the Senate is made up of a...

Government isn't working so great these days. The parties are pretty divided. Let's see if there is some common ground. I'll open by guessing that we can all agree we'd like to see elected representatives operate with a balanced budget, so we can start tackling the national...
