...then it'll be easier for everyone to access the blog, since a lot of important changes seem to get announced on the blog rather than anywhere else, and I for one only hear about them because some kind soul repeats them on the forums.

    Ta very much.

Its already there at the bottom of the page. Always has been along with links to about us, learning center, etc

So it is ... maybe I ought to open my eyes. It's at the bottom of this page. Still, I do like EmpressFelicity's idea.

:goes off and has a look:

Oh yeah, so it is :cringe: lol

I'll bear that in mind.  The RSS thingy sounds like a good idea as well.

Well, they could put it somewhere more obvious for people like me ... and you.

Wonder if Relache knew it was there. smile

            Yes, I did.

My plea was to not have it added to the cluttered list of poorly-designed account links that takes up too much page real estate as it is.

I feel your concern tho EF smile I didn't mean to be snippy. there is alot people don't notice here at HP because we get caught up in other discussions and forget about the site as a whole. Great suggestion

I have no problem accessing the site blog without a link on my already cluttered My Account page.  Please don't add more to that page that is unnecessary! (meaning it has nothing to do with managing my account)

I recommend you either bookmark the blog, or (better yet) follow the blog using an RSS reader so that you get automatically alerted when new posts are made without having to manually check.

It's an excellent idea, especially because it would remind some of us to actually take a look there.

big_smile - all of the important links are at the bottom of every page.

Even the Learning Center! Can you imagine the long way around I go to get there, beginning with 'Search'? smile

You are not alone. I'd been going the long way 'round, too, to find the blog and learning center. Then one day, just a couple of months ago, I finally paid attention to what was at the bottom of each page. I'd always used the "link to this page" feature down there, but completely missed the blog and learning center links. hmm

Yes, I've always gone there for 'link to this page' (only because there are specific instructions to do so regarding Trackers). I thought the other stuff there wouldn't really concern me, like 'about us' - who wants to know that (about them)? smile

                lol

You know, whenever I visit a new site, the FIRST page I go to is the "about". I want to see how credible the site is, or at least appears. Here on HP, I do visit "about us" from time to time...it's a nice way to keep up with changes in staff and to put faces to names.

I just went there for the very first time - all the staff are there with background and photos. Very interesting!
