As Misha said, ping your hubs to get more traffic and views. Visit: www.autopinger.com, diggit.com, reddit.com etc. Best of luck.

You can ping your hubs if you like, but better and more contents that people want to read will do the trick best.

I agree with this but also feel that there is nothing wrong with pinging your own hubs. I also try to do the same for hubs I like by members of whom I am a fan.

I would like to add to this that Google Analytics has helped me a great deal in discovering what readers are looking for. Not only can I see which hubs are getting more (outside) response in terms of visits, but I can also determine which keywords are leading them there and respond accordingly. To my surprise, my best hub has been http://hubpages.com/hub/My-Husbands-Second-Wife in terms of the traffic I'm getting from search engines.

I would only use Google Adsense tools to increase traffic and other media sites like the commenters suggested. You can travel with your URL to sites on the ShareIt Widget that has a host of social network media.  The problem is having the patience to transport your articles to those social media sites.  I would work with everthing that Hubpage and Google gives me to work with before I venture out with the URL's.
