Hi y'all,
I signed up this weekend, and I've created two hubs. Both are reviews of old NES games (I have shelves and shelves full of classic games, and I plan to review them all) and I've linked them to my blog using the widget tool. The thing is, as far as I can tell, the widget can't be set to display certain, specific hubs or groupings of hubs. It just displays them all.
I was thinking about branching out to other topics, (I work in mortgages for a living, and folks could use some advice) but I'd like to be able to keep the topics in separate widgets for clarity if at all possible. Is there a way to accomplish this?
I apologize in advance if this is a total noob question. If you want to see what I'm talking about, my blog is at http://thepeterjohnson.blogspot.com/ The widget is situated to the upper-left side.
Thanks for reading this!
-Pete
As far as I know, the widget is set to display latest hubs and can't be changed.
What you could do, is open a new account on HP with a username more suited to your mortgages theme, and then you will have a separate widget to add to a mortgage blog if you have one.
That's right, that's the way it works.
You can use a "Feed" gadget in your sidebar instead. Insert your RSS feed using a tag, and you'll get a constantly updated list of your Hubs on that subject.
For instance, if I wanted to feature a list of my dance Hubs, I would insert the Feed gadget and paste in:
http://hubpages.com/author/Marisa+Wrigh … atest/?rss
i.e. the sequence is:
http://hubpages.com/author/author's name/tag/latest/?rss
Edit: I forgot an important bit! You must choose a tag to add to each of your Hubs on that topic.

The title says it all - just do it , the topics are often unprofessional, the discussions are never on topic and as a basically unmoderated area of the site they should not be appearing on our carefully crafted hubs.Remove the forum widget from all hubs!!!! also "related questions" should...

Is there a widget I can put on my site to show my hubs, as Bukisa or Ezinearticles provide? Most sites where I contribute articles, provide widgets to showcase my work, on my site.

Google says no nudity. These hubs violating policy. The so called authors of these hubs are very clever. They become fan of any one and in return they get fans. Thus they have maximum number of fans. As these galeries need no intellectual, they publish number of hubs. This way they get highest...

I put this in the "answers" section and it actually should've been posted here. Many of us may be not performing to our fullest potential because we haven't taken a critical eye to each others' content. I would like to offer you some constructive criticism. If you have a hub or...
