Over the last 20 years the number of non religious in the UK has risen from 30% to over 50% today meaning that religious are now the minority and America seems to be following (slowly).
How long before the religious are globally a minority?
Hopefully religion will be totally gone in the US in about 200 years. It needs to go away a lot sooner, like yesterday.
It is very insane that this is happening but we should stick to our roots and never forget about our culture and traditions
@amithak how is it insane?...it is most sane thing to happen...religion in end is nothing but attempt of our ancestors to answer questions...now when those answers become obselte and question still stands, religion is bound to go extinct...it is not first time this has happened...it is part of human journey since long...every religion has its cycle...presently existing religions too would die like previous religions did....some new might come up...
Im afraid it is. It seems that time has clouded the evidence for religion and it would be erased or a lost memory. The complexity of everything has made us, for now, ponder the moment with theories on both sides.
@skyfire till people need saviour , i guess it wont....if god was real, he is lousy creator for sure....he created species which keeps needing him to be saved.........such god must be fired...
The very concept of "god loves you" is made by those who desperately need love in their life or are alone even with kids/family around. I mean if there is a creator that is capable of creating million species a minute will waste time loving his own species? That's like bottle of Pepsi thinking that out of all the bottles in the million containers, the one and only soda machine loves her.
@skyfire god loves u and screws u as per noah's story , when loveable god wipes out most of existence and worst part he wiped out animals too....same loving god kills many be sending plague and same loving god sends his own son , hangs him and then makes him alive again...wow what a way of loving....u r right...dumbness is timeless...
Hello everyone. It's not about being religious, it's about being faihtful and obedient to The Creator's word. If it's about religion, that's only on christmas and easter. The Book says that in the time of the end,man would become lovers of themselves, heaping wealth, lawless, wars and rumors of war, children would turn against their parents, and parents against their children and let's not forget earthquakes where there were none before. Seems as though a lot of things that were predicted just happen to be happening. Don't worry, You won't have to put up with the faithful much longer. But one more thought. Even if the faithful are wrong, according to you nothing bad will happen to them anyway. On the other hand if you are wrong there will be a deadly penalty to pay. Myself, I'll take my chances with striving for everlasting life as my reward. Sounds a whole lot better than eternal death. Rom.6:23 "the wages of sin is death."

Is atheism an anchronistic non-belief system? Of all the "isms" that has bedeviled man's existence, it could be said that atheism takes the cake for being inexplicably incongrous with modernity, for in its essence, non-belief (in somehting or anything) belies...

Whenever an Islamic terrorist event occurs, our Western politicos rally around to reasure us that Islam is a peaceful religion. Is this accurate?I'm sure any Al Quaeda member will be able to justify their actions by quoting a few passages of the quran. If as Westerners we were to read the same...

Every one has his own believes, many of us not believe in God, like we all say God knows everything and he can see everything, so this post is for my dear God friend, requesting you to come here on earth and tell us...

Is abortion about women’s right or is it about the right to life?I get so mixed up in that debate, it would seem that the right to life outweighs any right of personal choice, but many see it much different. What is your opinion about abortion? What supersedes what? Do men have a right to a choice...
