The Unraveling of the Obama Presidency

   With the fire from Benghazi  smoldering on, 2 new scandals of the Obama presidency have arisen just this past 2 weeks involving the usual suspects i.e the IRS and the DOJ.  The weight of these three problematic cases could potentially unhinge the Obama presidency and  drag it down into an abysmal sinkhole.... now that the mainstream media is finally...finally catching up to the rest of America in perceiving that Chicago style corruption (of which Obama once waded in) is  terribly bad  for the country.

      If you're part of the media though, we'll spy on your because? Of course we wouldn't try to coerce you or anything, we're just spying on you for your own good.
      
      Oh, and if you're 'conservative', we're going to target you. It's for your own good.
      
      Oh, and if you're within 100 miles of a border, we can steal all of your stuff. It's for your own good.
      
      Oh, and we can detain you as long as we want for no reason. It's for your own good.
      
      Oh, and we can steal from your pension because we like to spend more money than we have. Don't worry, it's for your own good.

         The last bastion against government tyranny is a wide-awake and totally engaged PRESS, but during Obama's first term and extending into the second term, most of the mainstream media was slumbering ( aka sleeping with Obama)  and  was totally disengaged when it came to taking  him to task on issues ranging from universal health care (AKA Obama Care), Border security (AKA  Fast and furious)), Consulate security (AKA Bengazi affair), Immigration (AKA as amnesty) Abortion (aka as "war on women"), Gay rights (aka "flip-flopping"), Environment (aka as Solindra)... the list goes on and on and on.
         
         Now that the Associated Press have realized that being  part of the mainstream media   does not necessarily mean that they are exempt from unwanted governmental intrusion (Dept. Of Justice, tapping and taping reporter's phone conversations), the wake up call has been sounded. We'll see what happens next.

   Another story just came out that the IRS targeted a reporter right after an interview with Obama when he made repeated points about the economy and spending.

      If proven to be factual, the story that you just mentioned, could add  to the  deepening list of governmental abuses during Obama's watch. One collateral damage, at least of the Benghazi scandal, is Hilary's presidential ambition, which, up to the point of the whistleblowers' congressional  appearance was a very viable one. Now it's dead in the water.

         Here's an interesting set of facts about impeachment.   Nixon was impeached for several reasons.   There are several of those same reasons that Obama could be impeached on.

            Nixon was not impeached, he resigned!
            
            Two presidents have been impeached by the House of Representatives, both were acquitted by the Senate.
            
            Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, although without a resignation, Nixon would have more than likely been the first to be fully impeached.

               Brian Williams, the NBC nightly newsanchor, and liberal avatar of the mainstrem media, in reporting the IRS malfeasance, has mentioned the ghost of Nixon, and  recalled his use of the IRS to intimidate political opponents and various people on his enemies list.
               
               I thought I  would never see the day that NBC would  somehow compare Obama to Nixon. Startling...stunning.
