I just want to know if hubpages pay for ads ( google adsense ) or for page views.
Here is the lowdown, KenDeanAgudo!

Hubpages pays per ad impression which, if I understand correctly, means an ad being shown. 60% of the time, an ad is shown that you collect on. The remaining 40% Hubpages collects on.
Sometimes Newbies are hand picked and rewarded with an opportunity to sponsor and pay for the Really Old Hubber's Christmas Party! It gives them (the newbie) a chance to appreciate how years of earning peanuts can affect the grumpiness and humor of old people!
I think the great community is reward enough. Everyone is so friendly, and even the bitter and snide people are usually not that bad.
My first sense of being rewarded was seeing that I had earned my first dollar. Along with that, one of my Hub was considered a HubNugget/Raising Star Hub. It felt great because it made me feel like my content was actually being looked at and that it actually matters. Although I didn't win any sort of contest, I still felt like I had done something great!

When I look at the questions section of hubpages I see pages and pages of silly questions. A lot of the time, when I click on "unanswered" or "latest" I see that the same person has asked ten or so questions in a row. I suspect that in most cases this is because of the fact that...

I was sitting here taking a break from writing a couple of hubs and really got to thinking about all of the hubbers who are ordinary hubbers but take a lot of time out of their own busy lives to help others here on HubPages. They're the guys and gals that you can always count on to pop in a...

There are tons of hubs on keyword selection and the various tools one could use to make the process easier. But, like most things 'net - they are mostly copies of copies of copies or poorly strewn together theories by intermediate writer-marketers ..So I ask... what was truly masterful, what made...
