Hey there! Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. Three of my hubs, all four to five months old, suddenly say that I updated them 9 days ago. The problem is that I haven't done anything to these hubs recently! I've taken a quick glance over them and there does not appear to be any changes, like I'm being hacked. I'm going to change my password just for good measure. Is this just some little technical bug I shouldn't worry about, or am I possibly in big trouble?
(UPDATE: SEE below)

We are not aware of any issue that would result in your Hubs being updated.
Changing your password seems like a good measure to take.
Do you notice any specific changes in your Hubs?
When was the last time you logged in?
There does not appear to be any changes at all to my Hubs. I've been signed in several times a day, and for very long periods, during the past few days because I've been publishing and commenting. I also sign in at least once everyday even if I'm not going to do anything. There is nothing suspicious showing up on my activity feed. The only difference is that the dates of these three hubs, both on my profile and within my account page show that they were "Last Updated" 9 days ago. There doesn't appear to be any shenanigans anywhere else within by account either. I don't really know what to think, but I doubt this is the end of the world.
OK, I am almost 100% sure that this was just a simply site quirk. I just reread all three of my Hubs and nothing is out of place. Furthermore, I just realized that nothing has at all changed in the Featured status of these Hubs; and, unless I am mistaken, they would have had to go through the pending quality assessment if they really had been updated.
Ok. I will monitor this thread, so please let me know if you see anything else that appears off!
I just wanted to give you an update.
I have confirmed with our engineers that there was, indeed, a bug early last week that affected the changed date, but only for a small subset of Hubs.
So the update change you saw was a system issue and not due to any unauthorized access to your account.
Wasn't last week your vacation Matthew?
You are a vital part of keeping this place running smooth,
Good Job!
Well, talk about a way for me to feel special! I can't win the lottery but I managed to be a part of this But thank goodness it was just a system error. Thank you so much Matthew for the attention you've given this today
Perhaps someone posted a comment, that might count as an update?
Well, I haven't had any new comments on those Hubs lately. I don't really know, or care, what caused it, just so long as my account isn't being compromised, and it doesn't look like it is Thank you for your suggestion

Am I incorrect in my thinking on this . . .?Since they did away with "idle" hubs, but just have the "unfeatured" hubs due to not good quality, does that mean once we have improved the quality of the hub and it is featured again, will it remain featured forever now? I had...

As I plow through the lenses to become hubs, two of them I edited do not show the change date of the edit although the updates are visible. Since I am using the date to keep track of the edited lenses, I keep re-editing them but the original date never changes. Is this an issue on HubPages or a...

Hey everyone,Last week we debuted the latest Hub design in 3 categories. This week, we've made some changes to that design and rolled it out across the entire site. Here are the changes:1. We removed the Hub view count for the Hub.2. We removed the Hub view count for related Hubs.3. We made the...

Lately I've come across a lot of Hubs with outdated information in them. If I comment or email to suggest it needs updating, I get the response, "Oh I wrote that ages ago."Sorry, that's not acceptable. There is no date on a Hub so as far as your reader is concerned, the...

I know I'm starting another lost traffic thread, (geesh, enough already), but...Here's why. As it has been noted, HP has suffered, site-wide - all of us - even the touted success stories, traffic loss due to Google's year-long algo changes. That's the BIG problem that is almost only solvable by...

It doesn't appear in hubtivity, so how do people know that you are putting out an improved hub?
