I was looking for some of his articles...he was amazing. What happened?
I read some of his stuff on his new site. Quite some amazing stuff.
Web-search on Ghost32 points to a site that looks like Fred's writing. Site is ghost32writer.com. Todays article (28 October 2013) is not about pumpkin carving.
When a user's account says they no longer exists, it means they opted to pack up their content and leave, asking admin to close the account down following their departure.
Oh, no. Surely not!!! It has been a while since we crossed paths, but I can't believe he's not around anymore.
Someone on my list mentioned somebody called ghost a couple of weeks ago and gave a link to where to find them (they were writing elsewhere, maybe their own blog). I don't remember who posted it, but if I find it, I'll try and post for you.
I found his site by entering 'ghost32 hubpages'. I didn't read it, but he has an Oct. 13 blog entry about writing on HP. He obviously wanted to do more than he felt he could accomplish here. Hope it works out for him.
What a great article. Extremely fair and level headed.
It tells me the site exists but the server on his side is down.
Yes, I just looked rebekahELLE, if you type in the old user name and then .com you will come to his new site.
Oh no! Did he close his account? We discovered not too long ago we live quite close by and I really loved seeing pictures of wildlife and reports of things happening in my neck of the woods. Sorry to hear that he has left after so many years of writing here.
I'll go to his new site and see if I can make contact. He is a most unusual, and smart, dude.
Yes he is and clearly he has made a smart decision in regards to being appreciated on his merits...
@donotfear please pass on my regards to him if you succeed in catching up with him... and thank you for letting us know that this fine writer is no longer here... it is quite sad really
I like his Blog lot!
Business experts tell me that one should start a business, grow it, and then sell it off at a profit; then start another one and repeat. Some writing coaches say to start with a writing community and then go off and start an even more successful Blog or website of one's own after enough experience is accumulated -- I think that is what Ghost32 did.

I understand it difficult times but what good will deleting hubs do? I see some of the most prolific hubbers deleting heaps of hubs. Have we lost the hope of a hubpages bounce back?

I keep getting "can't connect" messages in Chrome. It looks like the site has disappeared, and other than a tweet someone left, there seems to be no news anywhere.
