Is there such thing as really free or does one had to sell his soul to the devil? It would be nice to be given a house, but there is always a catch. Really, if someone wants to give me a house or car, who am I to tell them no. Where do I sign-up?

I would give anything for a car. Not just to make life easier but then my husband could actually look for better jobs because right now he's limited to the bus route & time schedule. We're in a catch 22- his job doesn't allow us to buy a car; lack of car prevents him from getting better jobs.

I couldn't imagine where to even look or what to do for a car.

I don't even know what a civic center is for but now I have to look into it.

By not paying enough to allow one to afford a car even on credit.  I've been there and assure you it is quite possible even if cars that are tolerably reliable in the area get down to maybe only $2000
