Removing all my affiliate hubs due to the number of domain links limit

This morning I had my highest earning hub unpublished...because it had more than 2 links to one domain. It had 4 amazon links, within a hub which compared 4 amazon products, so it makes sense. But, they weren't part of the Hubpages amazon program, as I prefer the look I can create myself for amazon links.

The hub had been an editor's choice hub for several months. So this sudden unpublished status came as an unpleasant surprise.

My suggestion is for anyone else thinking of having an affiliate focus, if you don't already have your own domain, I'd start working towards getting one as soon as you can rather than being at the mercy of moderators who can take down a hub which was doing extremely well.

That's your choice, but it doesn't change the fact that you broke the rules.   You can easily avoid the problem by converting those links to Amazon capsules instead.

You may prefer the look of your own links, but by using your own links, you deny HubPages their share of the income.  They don't run this site for the good of their health, they do it to make money - and the deal is, you share.

So, far from complaining that your Hub was unpublished, you should be thankful you got away with it for so long before being caught.

I orginally had amazon capsules, but then they broke, so I changed to my own links. That's when I was caught. If they hadn't broken in the first place, I wouldn't have needed to.
Thanks for the telling off though lol

The two-domain link rule has been in effect since LONG before you first became a member of the site two years ago, so choosing to break that rule when you could have just fixed your Amazon links instead seems like you either have been woefully unaware of how this site works or you made a strategically-fatal user decision.
