If in a divisive  controversial  history  was so bad ,  you certainly can't  improve America  by dividing it  ?

Since when have we not been divided, horsey? Was it the days when WE all were reduced to shining your shoes? That is what you all really pine for, deep down? Is it no wonder, your man has such appeal for right-oriented folks. But he will be watched and critiqued like no new politician has in the history of the republic. And with that, I say Happy New Year....

Cred, have you heard about the Amer-I-Can program that Jim Brown (NFL legend) created?  Its a model that works to help empower people to turn their lives around to achieve greater goals in life.  Brown is 80 years old now, and is going to pass the torch to Ray Lewis.  Both of them met with Trump, who was excited about the model and will be supporting it as president, and is now before he takes office.

Brown and Lewis both lean left, but they sure are happy with Trump's endorsement of Amer-I-Can.  I am too, its a great program and has been very successful for helping individuals.  I think I remember Brown saying that they had helped 30,000 gang members turn their lives in a better direction.   That's a lot.

"Building a Better America" -  My spirit gets excited about it.

Something like this takes an inspired vision!

Credence , No America wasn't " always divided " whether patriotism or  nationalism , no matter the issue , the cause or the results of political subject or  change , those like you will always reduce it down to  "shining your shoes " racism ,won't you.!
That is the one thing that will thankfully go out of style with  Obama's leaving and  thank God for that .
Some advice , grow up , evolve , mature .

Did you think Obama was going down with a simple flush?  I think we're going to need a plunger.

      Happy New Years Eve!

I think America is more divided simply because our government had been reduced, for the last eight years, to partisan politics on a daily basis. Obama bypassed the Congress whenever possible and it gave the left the belief that they held all of the power. Now, with this election upset, they are reeling. Hopefully they will come to their senses at some point, stop this hateful rhetoric, and attempt to work with others not against them.
